How does the bidding work? - Featured Agent Advertising Program
Once the auction has started, you can now place your bid. If you’re not yet enrolled in the auction, follow steps 4 – 6 in this FAQ under the “Enroll to an Auction” section.
Initial Bidding Round
Note: Initial bidding round means that the Top 3 slots are still unoccupied.
For the initial bidding round, you will only be allowed to bid for the starting amount if you are the first agent to bid. The starting or minimum bid amount can be found in the auction page.

Subsequent bids must be higher than the current highest bid (Top 1) and should increase by only one step.
Please note that you won't be able to rebid during this round and you will be notified once you are outbid so you may bid again.

After the Initial Bidding Round
Once all Top 3 slots are filled, you can place a bid of any amount* higher than the current top-ranked bid. You may rebid as many times as you like within the auction period. Please note that you won’t be able to place a new bid while you’re in first place.

*To maintain a fair bidding environment, the maximum allowable bid at any time is capped at twice the current highest bid.
This limit prevents disproportionate jumps in bidding that could unfairly disadvantage other participants, ensuring all agents have a reasonable opportunity to compete for a Top 3 slot.
Extended Bidding
If a bid is placed within the final 5 minutes of the auction, the auction end time will automatically extend by 10 minutes. Each new bid placed during this final 5-minute window will reset the timer and extend the auction again. The auction will only close when no new bids have been placed in the last 5 minutes.
Bids placed during the extension period follow the same rules as regular bidding, including the bid step requirement and the maximum bid cap (where applicable).
