How to Set Up Facebook Review Syndication

Save time and automate your social media workflow with our Review Syndication feature. Every time you receive a new review on RankMyAgent, we automatically create a branded review graphic and post it directly to your Facebook Business Page.

Connect once and every future review posts itself.

Each post includes:

Your client's star rating and review text
Your name and brokerage
Your overall RankMyAgent rating
A Verified Review badge to show third-party validation
Personalized with your RankMyAgent banner cover photo (available for premium Individual and Team lite accounts)

BEFORE YOU START

You will need:

✓ A Facebook Business Page (not just a personal profile)

✓ Admin access to that Facebook Business Page

✓ Your RankMyAgent login credentials

If you only have a personal Facebook profile and not a Business Page, you will need to create one before connecting. Facebook's help article on creating a Business Page is at: facebook.com/help/104002523024878

HOW TO CONNECT YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE

Step 1 — Go to Review Syndication

Step 2 — Click "Connect a Facebook Page"

You will be redirected to Facebook to log in and grant permission.

Step 3 — Log in to Facebook

Enter the Facebook login for the account that manages your Business Page. This is a standard Facebook login — RankMyAgent only requests permission to post to your page. We cannot access your messages, friends list, or personal information.

Step 4 — Approve the permissions

Facebook will ask which pages RankMyAgent can access. Select your Business Page from the list. If you want any new pages you create in the future to be included automatically, choose "Opt in to all current and future Pages."

Step 5 — Select your page

Back in RankMyAgent, choose the page where you want your review graphics to appear.

Step 6 — Choose your posting schedule

Select how soon after a review is published you want it to post to Facebook:

• Immediately — posts as soon as the review goes live on RankMyAgent

• After 1 hour — gives you time to add a photo or adjust the caption before it posts (recommended)

• After 24 hours — gives you a full day to review before anything goes live

• Manual — reviews are queued and you choose when to post each one

Step 7 — Add a caption (optional)

You can add a caption that appears above every review graphic — for example:

Another happy client! 🏡 #Calgary #RealEstate

Leave it blank if you prefer the graphic to speak for itself.

Step 8 — Click "Save & Activate"

Your Review Syndication is now live. The next review you receive on RankMyAgent will be automatically posted to your Facebook Business Page.

MANAGING YOUR CONNECTION

To update your schedule, caption, or connected page:

Go to Marketing Tools → Review Syndication → Manage.

To pause auto-posting:

In Manage, change your schedule to Manual. Reviews will be queued but not posted until you choose to send them.

To disconnect:

In Manage, click Disconnect Facebook Page.

RECONNECTING IF YOUR CONNECTION EXPIRES

Facebook connections expire periodically (usually after 60–90 days of inactivity, or when you change your Facebook password). When this happens:

1. You will see a warning banner in your Review Syndication settings

2. Click Reconnect

3. Log in to Facebook again and approve the permissions

4. Click Save & Activate

The whole process takes about 30 seconds. Your previously published posts and settings are not affected.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will old reviews be posted automatically?

No. Only new reviews received after you activate Review Syndication will be posted. Past reviews are not sent retroactively.

Can I preview the graphic before it posts?

Yes. The graphic is generated from your RankMyAgent profile and the reviewer's text. To see it, log in to RankMyAgent and go to Reviews → Live or Pending Reviews → Manage Review → Download Review Graphic.

Can I add a photo to a review before it's posted?

Yes! Log in to RankMyAgent and go to Reviews → Live or Pending Reviews → Manage Review → Upload a Photo.

What if I manage multiple Facebook Pages?

You can connect one Page per setup. To post to a second Page, please contact our support team.

Can I edit the review graphic?

The graphic is automatically branded with your profile information. On a Premium plan, you can customize the cover banner photo, which appears above your review graphics.

What if my review posts but shows an error on Facebook?

Make sure your Facebook Business Page is published and public. If the issue continues, disconnect and reconnect your Page in your Review Syndication settings.

How can I remove permission for the RankMyAgent APP from facebook?

Head over to your primary facebook page and select 'Business Integrations'

Click the 'Remove' button

Will this post to my personal Facebook profile?

No. Review Syndication only posts to Facebook Business Pages. It cannot post to personal profiles.

Does this work with Meta Business Suite?

Yes, as long as you're an admin on the Business Page and you log in with the account that manages it.
